These children are wearing all the clothes they own to keep warm in the unseasonably cold temperatures of 50-60 degrees F. They are still barefoot, however.

a jumper (sweater or cardigan)
a baby gro (sleeper, footed or not)
a bib
a vest (T-shirt or onesie)
booties or socks
a blanket (receiving, baby afghan)
soap
a little knitted, sewn or crocheted toy
also a bonnet or hat may be included

The Baby Pack Project in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, provides small packs of clothing items to mothers of newborns who would otherwise have nothing. Crafters worldwide send items to be packed and donated.
