a baby gro (sleeper, footed or not)

a vest (T-shirt or onesie)
booties or socks
a blanket (receiving, baby afghan)

a little knitted, sewn or crocheted toy

The Baby Pack Project in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, provides small packs of clothing items to mothers of newborns who would otherwise have nothing. Crafters worldwide send items to be packed and donated.
